Success in Pink.

For the second straight year, your Halifax Mooseheads were on the winning side of the annual Pink in the Rink event. Brent Andrews scored the first hat trick of the season for the team while rookie European Nikolaj Ehlers recorded a Gordie Howe hat trick. Val-d'Or scored the first goal of the game and than Halifax scored 3 unanswered goals before the end of the first period. Ehlers scored two goals and decided to allow Andrews to receive the hat trick with an empty net goal instead of taking it himself. Jonathan Drouin made his home season debut tonight and was pretty good picking up 3 assists. He looked a little timid at times but that is understandable after a groin injury.
