GAMEDAY 14: vs Cape Breton

IT'S GAMEDAY
HALIFAX MOOSEHEADS vs. CAPE BRETON SCREAMING EAGLES
Puck drops at 7:00pm
Metro Centre (10,595) ~ Halifax, NS

PREVIEW - They did the impossible Sunday afternoon. I am of course talking about the other Nova Scotia team, the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles defeating the number 1 ranked team in the country, the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada. After playing the Halifax Mooseheads, Blainville travelled to Sydney to take on the Eagles but left with an overtime loss, their first loss in 11 games this season.

The question now is; who will come out on top of tonight's game? Cape Breton will come into the Metro Centre with lots of confidence, thinking they did what eight other teams could not; defeating the Armada. Halifax will be playing with a chip on their shoulder trying to tie the season series up after losing to the Screaming Eagles almost a month ago. It's possible that the Herd could have reinforcements once again. Jonathan Drouin could make his home season debut tonight if all goes well.

This is the second game of the Battle of Nova Scotia series this season. Cape Breton's Clark Bishop scored two goals and Cameron Darcy chipped in with a goal and two assists to lead the home team to a 5-2 win against the Herd back in September.
