MISSING IN ACTION: Max Lindsay, Andrew Shewfelt, Sam Leblanc, and Jacob Jacques were all healthy scratches while Darcy Ashley has still not returned from a hand injury. Tommy Veilleux, Carl Marois, Jacob Vance, Jan Mandat, Jonathan Diaby and Alex Filiatrault were not in the lineup for Victoriaville.

EXTRA TIME
This is the second straight game that has gone to extra time for the Halifax Mooseheads. It's also the third one this season to go past 60 minutes. Which means 3 of the Herd's 5 wins are from winning it in extra minutes.

GOALIE
It looked like Kevin Darveau was going to get the start for Halifax, from what John Moore tweeted of the lines but Zach Fucale did.

HOME TOWN BOYS
There were a couple of Nova Scotian boys playing in this game. Brendan Duke an Ryan Falkenham of your Moose are from Halifax while Victoriaville goaltender Brandon Whitney is from Halls Habour, Nova Scotia. Victoriaville also had Dartmouth native Mark Tremaine and Baddeck native Mark Trickett playing last night.

FALKENHAM
Ryan Falkenham had a pretty good night yesterday evening. He scored the last two Moosehead goals, one in regulation to tie it up on the powerplay in the last minute and then the overtime winner.

MEIER
According to the teams twitter page, Timo Meier was being shot by a Switzerland camera crew last night. He made it 1-0 early in the first period.

DROUIN
Jonathan Drouin added to his point total, assisting on Falkenham's goals.
