Bathurst get swept in home and home series with Halifax

The Canadian Press' recap: Darcy Ashley put the Mooseheads in front for good with a power-play goal at 16:57 of the third period.

MISSING IN ACTION: Ryan Falkenham (hips), Trey Lewis (hip) and Jesse Lussier (concussion) were out with injuries while Liam Alcalde and Max Lindsay were healthy scratches.

JACQUES
Rookie Jacob Jacques scored his first career QMJHL goal last night in the first period that gave the Mooseheads a 2-1 lead after one. He was also named the game's third star. Congratulation Jacob.

ASHLEY
Darcy Ashley continues to be an offensive captain with Trey Lewis out. He once again scored the game winner last night. With the goal he added an assist earlier in the game on Jacques first goal. Ashley now has 8 points, three goals, in hi last three games. He was given firs star honors.

EHLERS
Danish rookie Nikolaj Ehlers had two assists in yesterday's game to add to his point total. He now has 22 points in 19 games which leads both the team in scoring and league in rookie scoring.

SWEEP
With the 4-3 win on Saturday night, the home team took the home and home series sweep from the Titan. Halifax has now won all three games between these two teams and will look to get another home and home sweep in a little less than a month from now, November 16 and 22nd.

FIRST PLACE
On Friday, the Herd took over first place in the Maritimes division with the 5-2 win. Both Charlottetown and Halifax were playing last night and the Islanders had a chance to take first place back if they won and the Mooseheads lost. However it was the opposite as Halifax won and the Islanders could not beat the Quebec Remparts despite having a 3-1 lead going into the third. Halifax is now 3 points ahead of Charlottetown.

Halifax will go on another road trip now which starts Wednesday in Gatineau against the Olympiques. Puck drops at 8:30pm.
