Halifax starts homestand on Friday

Your Halifax Mooseheads will start the longest homestand of the season on Friday against Blainville-Boisbriand. Friday's game will be the first of SIX straight home games. The other homestands are either 3 or 4 games long while the road trips are the same. Halifax will not play more than 4 straight games on the road this season.

After they play the Armada, your Mooseheads will also be playing hosts to Saint John, Cape Breton, Val-d'Or, Rouyn-Noranda and Charlottetown. The homestand will consist of four weekend games, as well as a Tuesday and Wednesday night game. It will finish with a game against the Islanders, PEI's renamed hockey team, on Wednesday October 23rd. For all 6 games the puck will drop at 7:00pm.

Halifax plays 13 games in October, seven of which are played at the Metro Centre. The other six are in enemy territory, four of which have already been played.
