SERIES
Halifax leads the best-of-seven series 3-0

SAINT JOHN, NB - Your Halifax Mooseheads will look to sweep their first round series for the second straight year tonight against the Saint John Sea Dogs. Last year in the opening round, the Mooseheads swept the Moncton Wildcats in four games.

In Game 3, penalties were a big problem for both teams. After a scuffle between the two teams at 11:07 of the third period, 11 penalties were handed out all roughing and unsportsmanlike conducts. Both teams also took a too many men on the ice penalty about 3 minutes apart in this second half of the opening frame. Despite the power play opportunities, Saint John was the only one to score a PPG while Halifax scored a short handed goal.

Both Jonathan Drouin and Stephen MacAulay were able to score 2 goals last night as nobody had more then a 2-point night. At least MacAulay was able to show the Sea Dog fans a good game in what was most likely he's last game at Harbour Station last night. He was suspended earlier today by the Q for his check from behind in yesterday's win.

Halifax was once again able to get 40+ shots towards the Saint John goalie last night as shots end 46-21.

NOT PLAYING - Stephen MacAulay (suspended) and Ryan Falkenham (concussion) will not play for the Moose.
