the Saint John Sea Dogs...

Halifax Mooseheads swept the first-round playoff series to end Saint John’s
2012-2013 campaign.
HalifaxMooseheads.com's recap: The Moose are moving on.
MISSING IN
ACTION: Max Lindsay (healthy), Liam Alcalde (healthy), Ryan Falkenham
(concussion) and Stephen MacAulay (suspension) did not play for Halifax. Oliver
Cooper (lower body), Stephen Anderson (upper body) and Jason Cameron (lower
body) didnt play for the home team.
FOUR: The amount of
goals that Saint John scored in this first round series. They scored one goal in
each game of the series. This was just an extension of what they did during the
regular season, as they had the lowest goals for total in the regular season out
of the 16 teams who made the playoffs.
TWENTYS: This
was the last game for Saint John players Pierre Durepos, Ian Saab and Maxime
Villemaire in the QMJHL.
SHOTS: Halifax recorded 45+
shots in every game in this series. The Mooseheads out shot the Sea Dogs 200-71
in four games.
FRK: Marty Frk is second in playoff
scoring after recording 10 points in four games. His 6 goals are also a league
lead. Just by himself, Marty out scored SJ as a team during the first round.
Last night, Frk was credited with his 7th goal however they reviewed it and was
determined that Stefan Fournier scored it. He also had two of his sticks break during the same powerplay
DROUIN:
Jonathan Drouin added to his league leading assists total as he recorded two
more last night to push his total to 8 in four games. He is tied for the team
lead in points with Frk having also scored 2 goals.
MACAULAY: Stephan
MacAulay was suspended for last night's game for a hit to the head penalty that
he received in Game 3. So instead he helped with the commentary for News 95.7
during the game. He will be back for Game 1 of round 2.
VILLEMAIRE: Maxime Villemaire had half of Saint John's
goals during this series as he scored in Game 2 and Game 4. He ended the
playoffs with 2 goals, 13 penalty minutes, 9 shots and a
minus-6.
ASHLEY: Darcy Ashley got the fur coat as player
of the game for the final game of this series.
