Moose avenge Friday's OT loss

Halifax and Acadie-Bathurst finally played their postponed game tonight at the Metro Centre. The game was originally scheduled for a month ago on February 9th but because of a snow storm that hit the Atlantic it was rescheduled. The Moose started the game quickly scoring 26 seconds in to the game with a goal from Fournier. Fucale padded his wins lead even more after recording his 44th win of the season while stopping 27 shots during the game. I had said in my preview that leading scorer Jonathan Drouin would not be in the lineup, however, a couple hours before game time Halifax announced that he would be returning. He did so in convincing fashion, scoring on a very nice breakaway shot and assisting on 2 other goals to tie him with two PEI players for 1st in the league at 101 points.

Notes: Drouin is the second fastest Herd player to reach 100 points in a season, doing so in 46 games, 19 less then the PEI players he is tied with for this season... MacAulay (personal), Lovell (jaw), MacKinnon (knee), Ashley and Falkenham (concussion) were all still out... The Mooseheads hold 9 of the top 10 plus/minus players with Mac Weegar leading the way with an astonishing +51...

50/50
