WJC: Fucale Shuts Door On Defending Champs

Venue: Bell Centre

RECAP: This seems to be a theme during the World Juniors. Canada having to battle the USA for the top position in their group. With the red and white joining their North American counterparts in the win column tonight with a 4-1 victory over Finland, that's exactly what will be happening on New Year's Eve. Zach Fucale made some pretty good saves against the Finnish team and it helped his Canadians to a third straight win in tournament play. Team Canada now has 9 points, good enough for first in Group A action. It was a very fast paced game between the two teams which is not surprising considering the Finns won the tournament last year and Canada being a dominant force in hockey.
