RECAP: Danny Scores Hatty

HALIFAX - After a disappointing loss on Sunday evening, the Mooseheads rebounded in a big way with American Danny Moynihan leading the way. The second year centre scored his first career hat trick to lead the hometeam to a 5-0 victory over provincial rivals Charlottetown Islanders. In a month that may not be very good for Halifax, it was nice for the Herd to start of December in a winning way. Hopefully this will ignite the second and third line especially with the top two scorers leaving next weekend to play for their country at the World Juniors. Of course, Danny is on the top line with those two scorers. Rookie Brett Crossley scored his first career goal on a nice dirty tip in. Kelly Bent is an enemy to the Isles too as he got into another fight and more conversations with the opponents. It was a night bout with Bradley Kennedy that lasted a couple of minutes but he'll most likely get a game suspension since it was in the last five minutes left.
