after collecting two goals in last night's overtime win for the Philadelphia Flyers. The 25 year old played for the Herd from 2006 to 2008 and was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2007 NHL draft after a 86 point rookie season in the Q. Voracek hasn't been able to hit the many points in the NHL but if he keeps going like this he will surpass that amount. Jakub had 62 points in a full season of play last year with the Flyers.

The 7 year NHL veteran was also named second star of the week today for his offensive efforts. He recorded seven points in four games played the past 7 days, scoring 3 goals and helping Philadelphia collect 5 out of a possible 8 points.

Keep up the good work Jakub and congrats on being named second star.
