RECAP: Resop'd

HALIFAX - It's deja vu for the Halifax Mooseheads for the third time tonight. For the third straight game, your Herd had to play more than 60 minutes and were able to pull out a win. Two of those games have been against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan now. It was a slow start to the game for both teams with no score in the first period. Halifax really needed the speed of Nikolaj Ehlers and Timo Meier tonight but Kevin Resop held them in to the game and it proved to be the boost to get a victory. Resop stood tall making some really good saves and was the main reason why his team was able to beat the Titan. He faced an incredible 41 shots en route to his 3rd victory in 3 straight starts. Despite Acadie-Bathurst tying it in the third period and forcing overtime, Connor Moynihan was the hero this evening with Meier sitting in the press box.
