QMJHL Names 3 Stars, Ehlers Among Them

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced the three stars of the week today. The Dashing Dane, Nikolaj Ehlers of your Halifax Mooseheads was listed as the first star for the week of November 24 to 30, 2014.

In 3 games in the past week, Nikolaj scored 5 goals and recorded 13 points to help the Mooseheads get 2 wins over good teams in the last 7 days. In a 6-3 victory over the Shawinigan Cataractes, Ehlers had 5 assists which tied him for the most assists on the road by a Moosehead player. He followed that performance with 6 points (4G & 2A) on Saturday night in the 8-5 win over the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. He now has a 13 game point streak, recording at least one point in every game during November. The streak has jumped him all the way to fifth among in the league for total points.

The league also named Danick Martel of the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada as the second star while Drummondville Voltigeur's goalie Joe Fleschler was rewarded the third star.
