Excitement All Over.

Too much excitement and nerviness to tell you the truth. Brennan could not help his team to victory even though he made some pretty impressive saves. The quickness that is back from the Halifax Mooseheads was too much for Brennan and the Acadie-Bathurst Titan as they lost 5-3 to a team that was clearly itching to show their fans they still got it. Half the team is new so it takes a bit to find chemistry but the home team had it all night even when they couldn't find the twine.

Period one had some excitement, mainly good chances by the Mooseheads but ended with no score. The biggest excitement was Trey Lewis taking on Titan player Lucas Grundy in a fight. Lewis mostly hit Grundy's helmet as Lucas was ripping out the captain's hair. Brent Andrews scored the first goal of the game, a first for the red and green this season. Matt Murphy gave the Mooseheads a 2-0 lead and even though the Titan were able to tie it up, they never looked back. Lewis was able to put the Herd ahead for good when he took a feed from Brent Andrews and went in on a mini breakaway to make the score 4-3.
