MISSING IN ACTION: Yan Pavel Laplante (NHL camp), Ryan Graves, Troy Vance (NHL camp), Nathan Yetman (healthy) were missing from the lineup of Charlottetown. Both goalies who were listed on the roster did not play, Antoine Bibeau was reassigned by Toronto while Eric Brassard is at Tampa Bay Lightning camp. Zach Fucale, Brent Andrews and Mac Weegar are still at NHL camps while Darcy Ashley is out with a hand injury.

MOYNIHAN
Danny Moynihan scored the first goal of the season for the Mooseheads. Of course he did. He led the team in preseason scoring with 7 points. He now leads the team with 2 points in the regular season, adding an assist on Ryan's 3rd period goal. He had a plus-2 rating, 2 hits and a penalty.

FALKENHAM
Ryan Falkenham played in his 100th game. He also got a hooking penalty.

DARVEAU
Kevin Darveau was solid in net but still allowed 5 goals in the net. He stopped 40 pucks, eight of which came from winger Jack Nevins.

FOG
It's wet and warm outside and cold inside, so the players were playing in fog during the game. It wasn't the only building that had fog in it. Moncton Coliseum was the other.

The Islanders had a goal disallowed 37 seconds in to the game.
