NHL Camps update

FUCALE
Zachary Fucale hit the ice last night in his first taste of NHL action. The goaltender was listed as the second goalie on the morning's roster for the Montreal Canadiens first preseason game. After Peter Budaj started, Zach came in at the halfway point and stopped 13 of 15 shots in 35 minutes of play, which included a overtime period. There was no score at the end of overtime so the Canadiens and Buffalo Sabres went to a shootout where Fucale faced on 2 shooters and stopped one on the way to a 5-4 SO win by the Sabres. He will not play tonight when the Habs take on the Boston Bruins.

WEEGAR
MacKenzie Weegar will be in the lineup when the Florida Panthers take on the Nashville Predators in the second game of a double header. Game time is 7pm Eastern time.

FOURNIER
After getting the day off last night, Stefan Fournier will hit the ice tonight when the Bruins and Habs battle it out on TSN2 and RDS at 7pm Eastern. Stephen MacAulay is now the only one yet to play for Montreal in preseason action but there are 6 more games after tonight.

MACKINNON
Nathan MacKinnon took part in Colorado's annual Burgundy/White game yesterday afternoon at the Air Force Academy. He recorded no points and was a +1. He also took part in the shootout at the end of the game but was unable to score. His team, Burgundy, however did win 3-1.

ATLANTIC DIVISION
If you like the Toronto Maple Leafs, like me, or any of the other 8 teams in the NHL Atlantic division as well as the Halifax Mooseheads well your going to see the plenty of Moose in the next couple of years. The Boston Bruins has former player Brad Marchand, Jonthan Drouin in Tampa Bay, Zach Fucale, Stefan Fournier and Stephen MacAulay are in the Montreal Canadiens organization, Martin Frk with the Detroit Red Wings, and Florida Panthers prospect Mac Weegar.
Other players include; Jakub Voracek (Philadelphia), Alex Tanguay (Colorado), Konrad Abeltshauser (San Jose), Matt Muphy (St. Louis), Jean Sebastien Giguere (Colorado), Brent Andrews (Anaheim), Trey Lewis (Calgary) and Nathan MacKinnon (Colorado).
