GAMEDAY 3: at Moncton

IT'S GAMEDAY
MONCTON WILDCATS vs. HALIFAX MOOSEHEADS
Puck drops at 7:00pm
Moncton Coliseum (6,554) ~ Moncton, NB

PREVIEW - Reinforcements are here. Players who were drafted in June's NHL draft have returned from their respective teams main camps. This means that goaltender Zach Fucale, defenseman MacKenzie Weegar and centre Brent Andrews are back in the lineup. All three gentleman impressed during the NHL rookie camps for their teams and were invited to the main camps.

Zach Fucale played the last half of a Montreal preseason game Sunday night and stopped 11 of 13 shots. He also saw overtime and shootout action. On Monday night, Weegar played 26 minutes to lead both teams in PIM while collecting an assist on the game tying goal. With Andrews coming back, it will eventually cause the Mooseheads problems in the overage department. The reinforcements will look to get the team back on track after two straight losses last weekend.

Moncton received their first win of the season and handed the Mooseheads their first loss when these two teams met 8 days ago in Halifax for the QMJHL season opener. The Herd seemed to have excitement in their bellies after raising the championship banners as the Wildcats rode a 2 goal game by Cody Drover to a 4-0 win.
