As much as it would be awesome to raise the banners on opening night, it would make more sense to wait for a little bit considering 3 players, including the goalie that backstopped them to both championships, will not be in attendance. Unless these players are going to fly in Thursday afternoon and then leave right after the game. After former and current Halifax Mooseheads made rookie camp rosters last week, some of been invite to their teams respective main camps.

San Jose and Detroit have not released their main camp rosters yet. If Brent Andrews signs with the Ducks, that will solidify the 20 year old situation for the Mooseheads. It will also leave the Herd with just wingers on their roster as Andrews is the only designated centre named.
