GAMEDAY 5: vs Acadie-Bathurst

IT'S GAMEDAY
HALIFAX MOOSEHEADS vs. ACADIE-BATHURST TITAN
Puck drops at 7:00pm
Metro Centre (10,595) ~ Halifax, NS

PREVIEW - Well here we are again. Almost two weeks after the season started on the Metro Centre ice, your Halifax Mooseheads return home after a three game road trip. This is the first of 3 games during a home stint. Halifax will try to get a winning record starting tonight when they take on the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.

The Herd will have to stay out of the box and improve their penalty kill as it's a battle of the most penalized and the least penalized, well second least. The Titan have 116 penalty minutes in 4 games played. Most of which came from a heated game on Sunday against the Moncton Wildcats. This game will see the return of Dominc Beauchemin to the Metro Centre after he was traded last season to the Titan. The line of Andrew Ryan, Nikolaj Ehlers and Brent Andrews will look to continue their strong play together as they have taken over the team scoring. It's going to be an interesting game.

Once again, the Mooseheads will play a division rival 9 times this season. This is the first of the 9 games against the New Brunswick team. A home and home set in late October will be the next time these two teams meet.

THE NUMBERS

Leading scorers

LAST GAMES
The Mooseheads fell to 1 and 3 on Sunday afternoon after they left Sydney with a 5-2 loss. Zach Fucale couldn't repeat his performance of Friday night stopping 31 of 36 shots against the Screaming Eagles as Andrew Shewfelt and Nikolaj Ehlers were the only offence the away team could produce.

Bathurst was demolished when they visited their New Brunswick rivals in Moncton. The Titan got goals from former Herd Dominic Beauchemin and Adam Chapman while veteran goalie Jacob Brennan took the loss saving 29 of 36 shots in a 7-2 win by Moncton.
