SYDNEY - Only 750 fans took in the home team's shootout win against the defending champs on Sunday afternoon. Liam Alcalde scored late in the second to tie the game up at two a piece for the Halifax Mooseheads, who were down 2-0 after 30 minutes. Danny Moynihan continued to collect points in the preseason as he scored his 4th goal in the preseason. Despite being cut last week, Mike Molloy suited up for this game as the Mooseheads were missing players due to NHL camps. Kevin Darveau played a full 60 minute game. In the shootout, Nikolaj Ehlers scored the Herd's only goal while Darveau was only able to stop one of 3 shots by the Screaming Eagles. Now on to the games that count. See you Thursday.
