FRK
Now that Martin Frk has aged out of the juniors, he will look to make the team that drafted him 2 years ago in 2012; the Detroit Red Wings. In the NHL.com's 30 in 30, Frk was listed as the Red Wings 7th best prospect. The NHL.com had this to say:
The Czech Republic native had a brilliant 2012-13 season with the Halifax Mooseheads of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in which he tallied 84 points in 56 games and has the look of a future NHL power forward.Every year, Detroit has a tournament with other teams in the NHL in Traverse City, Michigan. Marty will be one of 4 draft picks from the last four years who are in the tournament for the Wings. For a full roster click here. The tournament will feature 7 other teams; Dallas, Buffalo, Carolina, Minnesota, Columbus, St. Louis and the New York Rangers. It will begin on Wednesday and go until Monday September 9th. At the beginning of August, he was invited to Team Canada's World Juniors camp and played in one of the pre-tournament games in Lake Placid. Finally he has been in the Mooseheads training camp. He will once again be back on the ice come Thursday when the Canadiens prospects camp gets underway in Brossard, QC. For the full roster click here.
MACAULAY
Despite being drafted in 2010 by the St. Louis Blues, Stephen MacAulay finds himself on a camp roster with Fucale and not Murphy.
