GAMEDAY 4: at Cape Breton

IT'S GAMEDAY
CAPE BRETON SCREAMING EAGLES vs. HALIFAX MOOSEHEADS

PREVIEW - Just days after three players returned from NHL main camps early in the week, the Halifax Mooseheads were able to skate to their first win of the season. Halifax will look to come back home with a tied record while Cape Breton looks for their first win.


This is the first of 9 games between these provincial rivals this season. They will be playing each other at least once each month during the season and twice in December and March.

LAST GAMES
Cape Breton played their home opener on Friday and lost 5 to 4 against the Charlottetown Islanders. Cameron Darcy led the team in points with 2 goals and a helper while overager Maxime Legace was unable to defeat his former team making 32 saves on 37 shots. 

Halifax was able to ride the help of returning players to their first win of the season 5-2 in a rematch against the Moncton Wildcats. Andrew Ryan scored 2 goals and had 2 assists while Zachary Fucale stopped 18 pucks.
