PLAYOFF GAMEDAY #5: vs. Gatineau

IT'S GAMEDAY
HALIFAX MOOSEHEADS vs. GATINEAU OLYMPIQUES
Series tied 0-0
Puck drops at 7:00pm
Metro Centre (10,595) ~ Halifax, NS

PREVIEW - Rematch. It's a little deja vu in the quarter finals this year. These two teams met a year ago in this exact same round. Halifax was able to sweep their second straight series last season but can they do that again? Anything is possible of course but Gatineau is a lot better this season than last year and your Mooseheads aren't steamrolling through opponents either.

After a quick series against Charlottetown that ended over a week ago, Halifax is going to have a tougher road to returning to the Q league finals and this will be their first real test. The Olympiques were able to hold the higher ranked Quebec Remparts to only one win in a high scoring first round series. However, Quebec was out with key players while the 'Piques weren't.

Could we see the first game seven in the 2014 QMJHL playoffs come from this series? We will have to see but it is definitely a possibilty.
