PLAYOFF GAMEDAY #10: vs Val-d'Or

IT'S GAMEDAY
HALIFAX MOOSEHEADS vs. VAL-D'OR FOREURS
Series tied 0-0
Puck drops at 7:00pm
Metro Centre (10,595) ~ Halifax, NS

PREVIEW - Three times we've been here, can we make it the second year that we move on in a row? After a big comeback in the second round versus the Quebec Remparts three years ago, the Mooseheads didn't have enough gas for the third round and were defeated 4 games to 2 games. Last year, well we all now what happened last season. Your Halifax Mooseheads look to get back to the Preisdent's Cup finals but they will have to get through a series with the Val-d'Or Foreurs.

This is going to be a very exciting series. These two teams were one two in overall scoring in the regular season and have the past two Most Valuable Players. That's the biggest story line going into this series is Drouin vs. Mantha. Veteran Anthony Mantha of the Foreurs was recording points at a 2.10 points per game average during the regular season to end with 120 points and on top of the QMJHL scoring while after getting sent down by Tampa Bay, Jonathan Drouin of the Herd finished with a 2.34 points per game average finishing third in Q scoring with 108 points.
