While his former team is getting one last opportunity to prepare for their third round playoff series, Nathan MacKinnon and the Colorado Avalanche are getting ready to begin their quest to the Stanley Cup. The Avalanche will take on the Minnesota Wild tonight at the Pepsi Center with a 10:30pm Atlantic time puck drop. You can watch the game on TSN which I think I will be doing, or RDS if your in Quebec. MacKinnon averaged a point per game in Colorado's season series versus the Wild. In five games against Minnesota, he scored two goals and had 3 helpers. Colorado had a 4-0-0-1 record against Minnesota so this series shouldn't take too long to be finished.Good luck to Nathan, Jean-Sebastian and the rest of the Colorado Avalanche during the playoffs.
