Provincial rivals. There's not a lot you can say more than that. Games between these two are always entertaining. Both teams are coming into today with winning streaks so one of them is going to end when the Screaming Eagles welcome the Mooseheads to Centre 200. Halifax should have the upper hand on Cape Breton if you look at the standings but we know that you can never base an outcome on where teams are in the standings. 

This is the sixth game between the Eagles and Moose this season. Halifax has a 3-2-0-0 record against their provincial rivals while Cape Breton is 2-3-0-0 against the Herd. Danny Moynihan led the visiting team to a 4-1 win with a goal and 2 assists back on December 28.

Last Games
Halifax is coming off a 3-2 shootout win on Thursday night against Drummondville. Nikolaj Ehlers scored both goals in the regulation while Cavan Fitzgerald scored the shootout winner against the Voltigeurs.

Cape Breton had an easier time defeating the Volts on Saturday night, skating away with a 6-2 victory at home. Seven players had 2 point nights while Miguel Sullivan had to make only 12 saves versus Drummondville.
