Fucale Debuts For Remparts With Victory

He's starting right off where he left off. Former Halifax Mooseheads goaltender Zach Fucale played his first game as a member of the Quebec Remparts tonight. Fucale and the Remparts were taking on the Acadie-Bathurst Titan at home, so it didn't take long for Quebec fans to see what Halifax fans have been seeing the past three seasons. Fucale didn't get tested often against the Titan though. He had to make only 11 saves leading to a 6-0 win.

Two other former Mooseheads players helped the Remparts to a victory. Matt Murphy, who was traded with Fucale back on the first day of the winter trading period, scored at 16:57 of the first period. Defenceman Brian Lovell also scored plus added an assist for his 1st two points as a Rempart. Both boys were a plus-2 rating on the night.

Congratulations boys. Hope this journey is another good one for all of you. Zach even got third star honours after the game.
