DND NIGHT
There was a special pregame ceremony yesterday evening to honour the men and women who have fought for our country. The Stadacona band played the national anthem. Check out my facebook page to watch the pregame ceremony. Halifax also wore special jerseys to honour the Sea King's 50 year anniversary.
FIGHTS
There were a few fights during the game last night including one at the end of the first period. Not only was there a lot of rough stuff I don't think the two teams like each other at all. Pushing, trash talking and crowds were the themes of last night.
REVIEW
Both teams had a goal reviewed in the first period. Jonathan Drouin's first goal was reviewed to see if it even went in and I guess it did. Moncton's goal was taken back after it was deemed to be put in with a high stick.
FUCALE
Zach Fucale received his first shutout of the season last night stopping all 25 shots he faced.
ANDREWS
Brent Andrews scored a highlight reel goal last night. He went between his legs and it just slipped by Alex Dubeau. A clip of the goal was shown on TSN's honor roll.
EHLERS
Nikolaj Ehlers was held pointless yesterday but for sure won the battle between him and Ivan Barbashev.
