MISSING IN ACTION: Vincent Watt (healthy), Mac Weegar (ankle), Trey Lewis (hip), Andrew Shewfelt (healthy) and Ryan Falkenham (hips) were the scratches for the Mooseheads.

EHLERS
Nikolaj Ehlers has joined an elite group of Mooseheads players after he assisted on Brent Andrews record breaking goal which gave Nikolaj 5 points in the game. He joins the likes of Nagy and Nathan MacKinnon who have scored the most points by a rookie in one game on the team. There are now 6 players in franchise history to record 5 points in one game in their rookie season.

DARVEAU
Kevin Darveau came in to start the second period in relief of Zach Fucale, who started the game, and stopped 17 of 18 shots he faced in last night's game. He received the winning decision.

LUSSIER
Jesse Lussier scored his first goal of his QMJHL career. He scored shorthanded with 21 seconds left in the game. Congrats Jesse.

FIRST PERIOD
Despite the lowish shot total the game was tied at 4 after the first twenty minutes. Halifax led the shots in the first period 14 to 11 with Zach Fucale getting pulled after the period.

RECORD
The Mooseheads set a new franchise record when Brent Andrews scored the twelfth goal of the night. Halifax has never scored more than 11 goals in a game before last night. This one will be hard to break now but you never know. The Herd have scored 11 goals nine times before.

FIVE
Brent Andrews, Nikolaj Ehlers and Andrew Ryan all had five points in yesterday's win. They all had 2 goals and 3 assists on the night.
