GAMEDAY 21: at Rouyn-Noranda

IT'S GAMEDAY
ROUYN-NORANDA HUSKIES vs. HALIFAX MOOSEHEADS
Puck drops at 8:30pm
Arena Iamgold (2,150) ~ Rouyn-Noranda, QC

PREVIEW - Can you believe it? It's already November. The Halifax Mooseheads are playing their twenty-first game of the 2013-14 season on the first day of November or as lots of people call it "MOvember". Don't expect to see the whole team sporting moustaches by the end of the month but some certainly should. There's be no announcement though if the team will do a special MOvember event.

Now back to this game. It's the second game of the a three game Quebec road trip. Despite the takeover of first place in the Maritime division, Halifax has yet to win four straight games this season. They had a chance to on Wednesday night but took too many penalties in a double loss, MacKenzie Weegar seemed to hurt his knee during a fight but the team is listing it as a high ankle sprain. There will probably be more penalties in tonight's game as the rivalry got heated in last year's third round of the playoffs.

This is the second and final meeting between these two teams. The Huskies defeated the Mooseheads 2 weeks ago in Halifax 5-3. Darcy Ashley had two goals in the loss despite the Herd shooting 38 pucks at Gatineau's goalie Carl Hozjan.
