GAMEDAY 23: vs Moncton

IT'S GAMEDAY
HALIFAX MOOSEHEADS vs. MONCTON WILDCATS
Puck drops at 8:00pm
Metro Centre (10,595) ~ Halifax, NS

PREVIEW - Tonight, the men and women who serve our country will be honored at the annual DND Appreciation night held by the team. In celebration of the event, the Halifax Mooseheads will be wearing special military themed jerseys.

This should be a very exciting game as the top eligible NHL draft picks will be going head to head tonight at the Metro Centre. Second year player Ivan Barbashev is leading the Moncton Wildcats with 27 points so far this season while Nikolaj Ehlers is just ahead of him in the leaderboard with 28 points. Ehlers is leading all rookies in scoring so far. Not only will the fans in Halifax be able to see these top European players help their team win but the rest of Canada will too and so will many NHL scouts who will be in attendance.

This is the third game this season between the Wildcats and Mooseheads. Both teams have won a game on the road in the two games during September including the Herd's home opener, hopefully this trend does not continue tonight.
