A week after former Moosehead Dominic Beachemin was traded to Rimouski after spending the first two months of the season with Acadie-Bathurst, another former Herd player has been traded.
The Shawinigan Cataractes announced today that they have traded Matt Boudreau to the Victriaville Tigres. Boudreau was the only player in this deal as Shawinigan receives Victoriaville's 4th and 9th round picks in the 2014 QMJHL Draft.
Boudreau was originally traded a day before the 2013 QMJHL draft in June to the Cataractes by the Halifax Mooseheads. Halifax recieved their first round pick 2014.
Good luck to Matt in Victoriaville. Moose fans will get to see him in a new sweater for the first time on December 5.
