One Year Ago

One year ago today, your Halifax Mooseheads traveled to Rouyn-Noranda to take on the Huskies. The Herd came out of the game with a win on the road after falling to Gatineau two days beforehand. Halifax had 47 shots against the Huskies that evening and chased starting goalie Alexandre Belanger half way through the game after he let in 6 goals on 26 shots. The Mooseheads got 9 more goals that night on to a 15-5 record win versus Rouyn-Noranda. Brent Andrews scored the record breaking goal when he scored his team's twelfth goal of the night at 3:32 of the third period.

Halifax has not gotten that many goals since but it will always go down in team history as one of the greatest games, unfortunately they couldn't do it in front of their home fans.
