It's rebound day for the Halifax Mooseheads. The Herd will be taking on the Moncton Wildcats tonight in hopes of getting their third win in 4 games to start the month of November. It will be the second striaght game that Halifax will be apart of a game that honours our Canadian Forces after they held their own last night. Moncton will be hosting Support the Troops Night with a special Gordon Howe Hartford Whalers jersey to be auctioned off. I have to say that this is one of the best things that junior hockey teams can do in Canada with proceeds in the raffle and auction going to the veterans. 

This is the third game in the Moncton-Halifax season series. The two teams met exactly a week ago in Moose Country with the Mooseheads coming out on top in a 3-2 win which tied the series at 1 game a piece. Philippe Gadoury had 2 goals to lead his team to the victory while Zach Fucale made 23 saves.

Mooseheads: 7-11-1-1 = 16 points (5th in Maritimes division, 15th overall)

Wildcats: 12-8-0-0 = 24 points (2nd in Maritimes division, 8th overall)

Last Games

Halifax is coming off a 4-2 loss against the 3rd nationally ranked Saint John Sea Dogs on Friday night. Nikolaj Ehlers and Sam Leblanc had the goals for the Mooseheads while Zach Fucale made 23 saves for the loss.

Moncton is coming off a commanding 4-1 win in Acadie-Bathurst last night. Lane Cormier and Conor Garland had 2 goals each to lead the Wildcats while Jason Rioux made 19 saves against the Titan in the victory.
