RECAP: Ryan's Heroics Not Enough For Titan

HALIFAX - Andrew Ryan returned to Halifax for the first time since the Mooseheads traded him in the summer to the visiting Acadie-Bathurst Titan. His very late game heroics for his new team were for not as the Moose were able to pull through in the shootout. Ryan, who was an odd man out with Halifax in the overage category, led Bathurst being apart of all 4 goals recording two goals and two assists. His second goal of the game was scored with 0.3 seconds left which forced overtime after it looked like the Herd would skate to a regulation win. Former teammate Nikolaj Ehlers was the dominate player for the home team as he scored his first hat trick of the season and also assisted on the second Halifax goal. Ehlers also scored the lone goal in the shootout. Penalties were once again a subject of disgust in the Scotiabank Centre crowd. The time away seemed to affect Connor Moynihan who didn't keep his emotions in check getting 8 penalty minutes.
