RECAP: Chipped

HALIFAX - It was a dirty game in Halifax this evening with the bad guys getting the best of a young Mooseheads team. In a game that was full of chirps, fights and penalties the Mooseheads had a crap load of chances to get the win but Mason McDonald stoned them at pretty much every turn. For the first time this season Charlottetown has beaten the Herd. The Islanders victory also ends a 10 game win streak by Halifax. Hatred certainly seemed like the theme tonight with about 5 scuffles at both nets during the game as well as a fight that Timo Meier handily won after David Henley checked Nikolaj Ehlers. Meier got a fighting major and two 10 minute misconducts along with an instigator penalty.
