RECAP: Boosted

HALIFAX - In Nikolaj Ehlers return, your Halifax Mooseheads held on for a very close win against the visiting Charlottetown Islanders during Pink in the Rink night. It was another successful PITR game with raffle tickets being sold out completely and the home team skating off with a win. The Herd broke one streak and were able to continue another one. Halifax has now won 10 straight games against the Islanders, with the team's most recent loss being in Charlottetown's home opener of the 2013-14 season. The Mooseheads were able to break their losing streak, ending it at three games.

It looks like Halifax will have two teams that don't like them as there were many scrums during the 60 minutes. Both Euros got beat up a few times and drew penalties but where able to recover and not miss any time. The return of Ehlers did prove to be an asset as he made space and the defense seemed better holding the Isles to three shots in the middle frame. It was the first time in 6 games that Halifax has held an opponent to less then 30 shots as well as out-shot the other team.
