After the excitement of Pink in the Rink and the return of Nik Ehlers which led to the Mooseheads first win in four games, Halifax will be looking to continue improving and getting wins. Domination has been the theme between these two teams the last few years but this season it seems to have shift to the Saint John Sea Dogs. Feisty is also a theme in this year's series between your Halifax Mooseheads and the Dogs, which is probably because of  the 3 pre-season competitions as well as the Herd picking up Kelly Bent of waivers from Saint John. 

This is the third game between the Moose and the Sea Dogs. Saint John has won the previous two games this season including a big 7-0 blow out exactly two weeks ago in the New Brunswick city. Thomas Chabot and Justice Dundas scored 2 goals each while Sebatien Auger made 30 saves for the shutout.

Sea Dogs: 5-2-0-2 = 12 points (3rd in Maritimes division, 7th overall)

Last Games

Halifax is coming off a 3-2 win over the Charlottetown Islanders on Friday night in Moose Country. Zach Fucale made 24 saves to get the win while Danny Moynihan, Vince Watt and Timo Meier all had singles to lead the Mooseheads to their third win this season.

Saint John is coming of a weekend split, losing to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles on Saturday night 4-2. Samuel Dove-McFalls and Spencer Smallman assisted on each other's goal to lead the Sea Dogs with 2 points each.
