RECAP: Rebounded

HALIFAX - Battle of Nova Scotia always brings an exciting game. It's rivalry week in the QMJHL and your Halifax Mooseheads are playing a home and home series against provincial rivals Cape Breton Screaming Eagles. After two bad losses this past weekend, the Moose seemed to have a better jump tonight in front of their home crowd en route to a commanding 5-2 win. Halifax was still effected by injuries on the blue line and called up Nicholas Gibson to try to sow up that hole a little bit. JS Taillefer got a high stick in the first period, which created a 4 minute powerplay for the Herd, and did not return to the game so veteran defensemen Matt Murphy and Austyn Hardie carried the brunt of the work.
