FREDERICTON - Well that's two in a row now but luckily it's only preseason and if this team is anything like last year's, they won't let it get longer. The scoring is being spread out at least with Andrew Shewfelt getting 2 goals last night. Once again, the goaltending was split in two with Kevin Darveau playing the first 30:56 and Jacob Dempsey taking over in the second half. Each let in 2 goals so the coaching staff must be testing them out to see who gets the backup position this season. Dempsey stayed in net during the shootout, no overtime I guess, and let in 2 goals on 3 shooters. Nikolaj Ehlers had the Mooseheads only goal in the penalty shot section. Halifax will get a chance to erase these games in the fans minds when they open the regular season against Moncton on September 12th.
