First cuts made

The Halifax Mooseheads have made their first cuts of 2013 training camp. The cuts were made this morning in advance of the Herd's first preseason tilt against Cape Breton. The following players were cut:

Benji Gaudet  F 

Denis Creighton  F

Colin George  F

Olivier Trembley  F

JP Provencher  D

Christopher Langlais  G

Brendon Dorrington  G

Jordan King, Nicolas Gibson, Jody Sullivan and Erik Brown have left voluntarily according to the press release. No reason was given to why.  

This leaves 36 players left in camp with only 3 goaltenders battling it out now for the backup position.
