V-Reds win alumni game

The Saint John Sea Dogs alumni held the first annual Wallace McCain Memorial Alumni Game at Harbour Station yesterday afternoon before the Sea Dogs preseason game against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.

The game pitted the Sea Dogs alumni versus the University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds alumni that began at 1:30pm. The game went to a shootout in which the Reds won 1-0 to take the game 7-6. 

A couple of former Halifax Mooseheads were playing. Jason Churchill played in goal for Saint John and was eventually pulled after letting in 3 goals on 11 shots. Cam Critchlow and Ryan Seymour played for the UNB alumni getting no points that it showed.
