Harbour Station (6,603) ~ Saint John, NB

The Halifax Mooseheads play their last away game of the regular season this afternoon as they travel to Saint John and take on the Sea Dogs at Harbour Station. After winning eight straight, the Herd have been sliding a bit the past week losing 3 of 4 on this road trip. Halifax has had a great year against Saint John though and will be looking to continue that today. The Sea Dogs though will most likely be playing hard as they can still make the post-season. Saint John is one point behind 16th place Shawinigan for the final playoff spot after picking up victory the other day and the Cataractes losing 12 in a row. The Port City club can play some good hockey but being young is also a curse when you're going up against teams that have a lot of 19-year-olds on the roster. Saint John got a point against the Moose in the season opener but that is about as close a game the two teams would have this year.

This is the seventh meeting between these two teams this season. Halifax is 6-0-0-0 against the Sea Dogs while Saint John has a 5-1-0-0 record versus the Mooseheads. The last matchup was on February 23 where Halifax skated away with a 11-1 victory on home ice led by Benoit-Olivier Groulx who had a goal and 3 assists while Cole McLaren stopped 25 of the Sea Dogs 26 shots.

Overall Records
Mooseheads: 46-15-2-1 = 95pts (4th overall, 1st in Maritimes division)
Sea Dogs: 13-46-2-3 = 31pts (17th overall, 5th in Maritimes division)
