BREAKING: Ehlers ranked 7th

Halifax Mooseheads rookie Nikolaj Ehlers is ranked 7th in the March edition of Craig's 2014 NHL draft list. In the February edition he was ranked eighth. Ehlers keeps getting better as the season progresses, three straight hat tricks being one piece of evidence, and it will be interesting who actually takes him. If the draftees go where they are projected and were the season to end today, Nikolaj would become a Nashville Predator. Of course that is not how the NHL teams chose the draftees each year.

The top three stayed the same as the previous rankings with Sam Reinhart (Kooteney Ice) being raked #1 followed by Aaron Ekblad (Barrie Colts) and Sam Bennett (Kingston Frontenacs). The biggest jump into the top 10 ranked eligible players was Leon Draisaitl (Prince Albert Raiders) who is ranked 4th this month from 11th previously. Josh Ho Sang (Windsor Spitfires) jumped from 33rd to being in the top 20 at #20.

Look back throughout the season to see what happens with these young players as they try to make their dream become reality.
