Herd End 6 Game Skid

Photo - Myles Dennis
The Halifax Mooseheads ended their six game losing streak on Saturday evening when they defeated the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 3-2. Halifax got on the board early, getting the first goal 33 seconds into the game on a deke by D'Artagnan Joly. The momentum changed around the half way mark of the first period and a hooking penalty gave Bathurst a chance to tie it up which they did from a goal by Remy Anglehart. In the second frame, the away team took the lead but with a few minutes remaining in the period the Mooseheads scored to send the clubs to their dressing rooms tied once again after 40 minutes. The whole game was physical with a few big hits including one by the stanchion and some shoving between Kyle Petten and Liam Kidney. Petten scored his first goal of the season to give Halifax the lead in the third period on the power play and they were able to keep it.
