The QMJHL Team of the Week ending January 20, 2020 has a number of connections to Halifax.
Mooseheads goaltender Alexis Gravel was among the best six players in the past 7 days determined by the Q. The 19-year-old went 1-1 over the weekend as Halifax went on the road to Quebec for three games. He had a 2.43 goals against average and a 0.938 save percentage.
Former Herd forwards Benoit-Olivier Groulx of the Moncton Wildcats and Chicoutimi Sagueneens' Raphael Lavoie were also named to the team of the week, each with 5 points in two games played.
Halifax natives Luke Henman and Jarrett Baker were also on the team of the week.
Congratulations to all six players, especially our own Alex Gravel.
