Playoff round

Because two teams finished 2-1 and the other two teams finished 1-2, there will be a tiebreaker game for the third straight year. Saskatoon will look to do what Shawinigan did last year; win the tie breaker game and then go on to win the Championship on home ice.

The final standings after the round robin games looks like this:
Halifax 2W 1L 18GF 11GA
Portland 2W 1L 14GF 12GA
London 1W 2L 8GF 17GA
Saskatoon 1W 2L 9GF 9GA

With Portland beating Saskatoon last night, Halifax goes straight to the final because the Mooseheads defeated the Winterhawks in the round robin. Saskatoon will be the away team in the tie breaker game against the London Knights. The winner of that game will go on to play Portland in the semifinal game.

Tonight is the tiebreaker game. Puck drops at 9:00pm/AT
Semifinal game is Saturday [EDIT: actually on Friday]. Puck drops at 9:00pm/AT
Championship final game is Sunday night. Puck drops at 8:00pm/AT

It would've been a different story had the Blades won last night but thank goodness they didn't. Here's how the playoff round would have been if the host team had won.
Saskatoon and Halifax would have 2-1-0 records and since the Blades beat the Herd, the hosts would be going straight to Sunday's final. Halifax would have to play in the semifinal game against the winner of the Hawks/Knights tiebreaker game.
