Halifax leads the best-of-seven series 2-1

PREVIEW - Halifax received it's first loss of the playoffs and first regulation defeat since February 8.

So much for Game 2 being the last home game of the season. Baie-Comeau came out very defensively in front of their home crowd en route to a 3-1 win. It was the lowest scoring and least penalized game of the series. Two Moosehead players got hurt but were able to get back into the game after a short rest. Brent Andrews and Jonathan Drouin both got hurt. Big Jo got hit by Alexandre Ranger with a knee on knee. He spent the last 14 of the second period in the dressing room and came back for a couple shifts in the third.

Baie-Comeau scored the first goal to lead after 40 minutes. There was three goals in the last 20 minutes. The two teams traded goals in the third. The Drakkar's last goal was an empty net goal. There was only 6 powerplays during the whole game.

Halifax was outshot for the second straight game by almost an identical shot total with Baie-Comeau leading 30-28 in pucks to the net.
 
NOT PLAYING - Lovell, Bailey, Alcalde, Lindsay and Lacroix-Courville will probably all be healthy scratches again tonight. Alexandre Ranger was suspended for a game for the hit on Jonathan Drouin.
