Media'Caps: Mooseheads 7, Drakkar 4

My recap: A very exciting second period leads to another Mooseheads win to put them one win away from a berth in the Memorial Cup.

The Canadian Press' recap: Martin Frk had two goals and three assists as the Halifax Mooseheads defeated the Baie-Comeau Drakkar 7-4 on Wednesday to take 3-1 lead in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League final.

Metro Halifax's recap: It was more than just another goal for Nathan MacKinnon for so many reasons.

The Chronicle Herald's recap: The Halifax Mooseheads are one win away from claiming their first-ever QMJHL title.

MISSING IN ACTION: Brian Lovell, Max Lindsay, Liam Alcalde, Brennan Bailey and Jonathan Lacroix-Courville were all healthy scratches for Halifax, while Alexandre Ranger of Baie-Comeau didn't play because of suspension.

MACKINNON: Nathan MacKinnon played okay. Just like in Game 3, he turned the puck over a couple times though Fucale was there to bail him out last night. After getting off the ice someone threw a wattle bottle at his back and than a beer can at his chest. He also scored his first goal of the series which ended up being the game winner.

DROUIN: After getting hit on Tuesday night with a knee on knee, Jonathan Drouin came back quite strong for Game 4. He started the comeback with the first Mooseheads goal to cut the Drakkar's lead to one.

CADORETTE: Philippe Cadorette got pulled for the second time in the series after allowing Halifax's fifth goal in the second period. He played 33:54 minutes in net for Baie-Comeau.

FRK: Marty Frk had two goals and three assists to lead both teams in points during the game. He was the only one to score more than one goal. This again shows the depth of his team.

HOME: Halifax will have a chance to win the President's Cup at home now after Baie-Comeau forced a game 5 on Tuesday and the Herd won last night. I was hoping that we could win the cup at home but it would've been nice to get the record.

SIX: The Halifax Mooseheads scored six goals in the middle frame last night. During that 20 minutes they only shot 7 pucks to the net.

TICKETS: Tickets for Game 5 at the Halifax Metro Centre don't go on sale until 10 this morning but there were already people lining up at the MC for them after the second period had finished.

SCORES
Knights 4 - 6 Colts    (BAR leads 3-1)
Winterhawks 2 - 1 Oil Kings    (POR leads 3-1)

NEXT GAME: The Mooseheads are coming home to the Metro Centre for Game 5 against the Drakkar with game time being 7pm.
