Scotiabank Centre (10,595) ~ Halifax, NS

It's March. Can you believe it? Despite being officially eliminated from playoff contention on the weekend, the road team in this contest, the Acadie-Bathurst Titan, have been one of your Halifax Mooseheads hardest opponents this season. Four of the Titan's 15 wins have been against the Herd. This will be the last time that Halifax fans will see former player Andrew Ryan at the Scotiabank Centre as Ryan is in his last season. Halifax will once again be looking to close in to the second place spot in the division, which they are 5 points behind. With the Saint John Sea Dogs being idle tonight this could be a big boost should the Moose come out as victors tonight. A win could also secure the Herd a playoff spot.

This is the 8th meeting of 9 this season between these two teams. Halifax has a record of 4-3-0-0 against the Titan while Bathurst has a 3-1-2-1 record against the Mooseheads this year. The two teams last played about a month ago on February 7 in Moose Country with the home team coming out on top led by Nikolaj Ehlers' two goals. Kevin Resop made 20 saves for the 3-0 shutout, for his first career 0.00 GAA game.

Overall Records
Titan: 15-39-4-2 = 36 points (6th in Maritimes division, 18th overall)
Mooseheads: 29-25-4-2 = 64 points (3rd in Maritimes division, 10th overall)

Leading Scorers
HFX: Nikolaj Ehlers 82pts (30G & 52A), Timo Meier 80pts (40G & 40A), Philippe Gadoury 56pts (27G & 29A)
BAT: Mark Simpson 36pts (13G & 23A), Andrew Ryan 34pts (16G & 18A), Raphael Corriveau 28pts (17G & 11A)

Last Games
Acadie-Bathurst is coming off a 2-0 shutout on home ice this past Sunday against Gatineau. Reilly Pickard's 34 saves was not enough for the Titan against the 15th overall Olympiques.

Halifax is coming off a hard fought 5-4 loss against the Oceanic on Sunday. Timo Meier had a goal and an assist to lead the Mooseheads but 2 goals past Kevin Resop, who made 22 saves, in the first 10 minutes killed them in Rimouski.
